Unsynced audio

I have a divx movie where the audio is off by about 7 seconds. How can I "move" the audio up to put it where it belongs? Thanks.

Among several other programs (that others may suggest to you), you can use VirtualDub to resynchronize the file - as long as the audio is consistently off throughout the video.

I have this program, but I still cannot figure out how to do it. I was able to extract the audio, but how do I reinsert it where I want it? Thanks for the help.
