encoding divx to vcd

to all ya guys who relied my message:

thank y'all for those usefull info. i even tried to use an external mp3 encoder but it still didn't work. btw, i'm using TMPGenc 2.51.

the only thing that really did work was when i encoded the audio with virtual dub and then conversed the movie to vcd file.
this method worked really good, but i wonder if it is still possible to do the job with only TMPGenc, coz all the other settings you've posted didn't work.

Are you encoding from an original DVD? IF so, I use Smartripper to rip it, DVD2AVI to make a project file to be read by TMPGEnc, and let TMPGEnc do the rest into vcd. If you are using a dvd source, I can give ya more details instead of babbling about something that's not of any use to ya.
