More space on the CDs for DVD backups

    OK People:

In the VCD and SVCD format, no file system is created when burning the CD. This provides up to 850Mb (I have read this!) on 700Mb CDs.

I'd like to know if it is possible to do the same but with DIVX videos provided with subtitles, menu, multiple languages and special features (trailer, songs...). Is there any encoding tool/PC player for that?

Is it possible to retrieve the information of the CD when you decide to edit it?

VCD uses a different format for the cd. Normal ISO9600-CDs use more space for the error-correction. Theoreticly it's possible to use save the the divX in RAW-mode and use less space for error-correction, but you would need a special player to read that cds.
