No sound when inserting subtitle (Nandub, VDub)

Hi,

I'm inserting a subtitle in a DivX movie, but everytime I save the AVI, it's coming without sound!
I noticed that when I select Audio/Compression/MPEG-3 Layer, no format appears to select, unless I check the "show all available formats" box.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

The sound problem shouldn't be caused by the subtitle thingy. It's probably because you've not set your audio processing settings correctly. Can you outline your encoding procedures so that we can have a better picture?
