Noob In Distress!

Hi,

I know this question is probably asked all the time, but i haven't found any help by searching the forum.

Right, i downloaded a movie earlier (Seed of chucky, just over 600mb and is 83 minutes long) i only have a cd writer, not a dvd writer, is there anyway to put it to disc to play on my dvd player, which does play vcd's.

Also, the video file (divx) sound didnt work on my pc, would it work on my dvd player?
