frameserving?

i use flask 2 create divx files but have heard on the forum that frameserving is a better and faster option.

Could you please explain what is frameserving & how do i create divX files via frameserving

Frameserving is basically creating a file that can be read by programs that cannot directly read VOB files. Virtual/nandub are the perfect examples.

There are two methods of frameserving. Avisynth (Using GordianKnot) and vFAPI (Using a vFAPI converter).

Framesering is said to yield better quality because the aforementioned programs contain many encoding controls which are used to influence, you read it, quality. However, using Flask is not a really bad idea especially if you are just a beginner. Flask+4.12 are probably the best combo used for Flask.
