partial movie conversion w/ xmpeg?

using xmpeg 4.2a, is there a way that i can convert ifo/vob to avi without having to convert the entire movie?

for example, i just want to convert a 5 minute scene at the end of the movie, but i do not want to wait 6 hours for the entire movie to convert.
