How do I reduce the size of a divx movie just a little?

I have a 702 mb AVI (divx 3)... and I want to reduce its size just a few mb (694 mb would be ok) because I want to save it to a 702 mb CD with another files, all together

How should i do? I don't want to reduce it too much becuase I don't want to affect the quality...

Load it into VirtualDub and cut off the end credits (Make certain to set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copying").

this is a 2 CDs movie, so the first one doesn't have any credits...

shoul I reduce its size changing the bitrate? how can I do to choose a bitrate witch will determine a final file size of 695mb?

Maybe you can cut off a bit if the intro from disc 1. If you reduce the videobitrate the quality may be a lot lower after reencodeing even if the filewsize differs only by a few mb.
Better change the audiobitrate. Use VirtualDUB, set video to "direct stream copy" and audio to "full processing mode". Then select the new (lower) bitrate and save the avi.

Use VirtualDub to join the two files, then while still in VIrtualDub, save a slightly shorter first "half", and then save the second "half" without the end credits...
