A strange problem...
When I use DivX 3 to encode a video everything seems to go well. But when I try to playback the video in media player or other players (using directshow decoder included in DivX 3), I see that no video overlay is loaded. It is strange because it happens only to videos I encode. It happens only to DivX 3, not in DivX 4 or DivX 5. Also DivX 3 videos encoded by others use overlay on my PC. So it seems that the problem is at the encoding process. Probably something in the AVI headers of the files I create is wrong. It happens to my AVI files created with both Virtualdub and XMPEG.
Does anybody knows what goes wrong?
