nandub sbc a/v sync problem pls help

hey all. i usually don't run into this problem but with the movie ALI i did... i made it 1400mb to fit 2 cds and when i added the ac3 stream somewhere around 1h23min into the movie the audio jumps back about 900ms. i cut the first disc right before this problem occurs and disc 1 is fine...but on the second part it's fine at first but then as i said before the audio gets delayed instantly i'm pretty sure...i tried to fix it by cutting where it was fine and starting where it screws up but the rest of the movie starts to lose sync too...by then end of the movie the voices are off noticably...i noticed the ac3 track is 1 sec longer then the full video file too...i also tried combining the audio with another prog other then nandub and it has the same prob...is there anything i can do?? or will i have to rerip it and if i do will i have the same problem again?

    my computer is
    win98se
    duron 1ghz 200mhz fsb
    256mb ddr ram
    40gig WD caviar 7200rpm ata100
    creative labs audigy 5.1

    Thanks
    Adam

the audio is perfectly in sync until 1h23min or so...then it jumps back 1 or 2 seconds and continues to get further behind...i tried another prog to add the audio and had the same prob

i finally got it...all with nandub ..i cut off the part that was good and cut the bad seperate...then changed the frame rate from 23.976 to 23.974 this fixed the audio sync prob...then i had to change the frame rate (on the part that was fine originaly) to 23.974 so i could combine them...and now after almost a day of trying to fix it it's done
