Divx 5.01 pro and xvid and virtualdub errors..

All,

I use virtual dub 1.4.10 and whenever I try and encode divx 5.01 or xvid (latest binary) it crashes virtualdub. Now.. I used to be able to use divx 5.01... This seems to not be the case...I tried uninstalling all forms of divx and virtualdub and all that jaz... still nothing vdub and xvid crash. I run windows 2k pro pentium 4 1.6 ghz 226MB RAM. Thanks to all god encoders who can help

Are you using 'job control' in virtualdub ?
If so try starting each pass directly from the save menu.

Nope.. that so didn't work... Still have the errors...
