Prob to encode DVD to...

Hi all,

I'm new here. So I didn't have time to check all the posts...

I have tried to encode DVD movie to Divx and also SVCD...

Hewre the prg that i used :
DIVX : Flask Mpeg
Xmpeg

SVCD : DVD2SVCD

All the prog crashed when they are at the half of the process.

I have Win XP, fully updaded. All my drivers are updaded too.

Any Idea ?

What is the best prog for doing what I want to do ?

Try processing the video alone (ie. Disable audio processing). That will eliminiate many possible errors and enable you to isolate any other problems. All-in-all, MP3 processing is usually a culprit, so that's why I recommend you to disable audio processing.

Many of them. Nandub (SBC) + vFAPI/AviSynth is my choice of combo. UncasMS would recommend GordianKnot + DivX5. In order for you to get a better idea, read the guides available from the main site and also UncasMS's guide. You will learn better by reading guides, than to keep on asking how-to's and end up waiting for answers that may never come and, worse, are incorrect.
