Problems encoding 2-pass with divx 5.0.2

i'm trying to encode an .mpeg in to a divx using 5.0.2pro with two pass encoding,
but when i start it says "could not open log file for reading"
any ideas why this is coming up and how i can get round it,

Sounds like you are trying to do the second pass, without first doing the first pass. With two pass encoding you must first, run '2-pass first pass' and then '2-pass second pass'.
