Ok, so I have heard of this problem only once, and I couldn't figure out how to solve it, I searched the forum and found solutions that didn't apply to me "PCI Video card" or that I couldn't quite figure out, (how do you disable the screen capture service?) and I have discovered that it only occurs in .mpeg files, and Windows Media player, as well as Winamp, I can open .avi files fine in "The Playa" but that doesn't extend to .mpeg files. The other deal is, the problem didn't start until I went to a friend's house, he is also having the same problem, and got it from a third friend, but they don't watch as many videos as I do. As well, DVD is even worse, it skips around on the disc, and has audio problems as well. Even with different players, (Windows Media Player, PC Friendly DVD), I am quite angry about the whole thing, and it has me stumped, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling codecs, virus scans, different players, If anyone can help me I would really apreciate it. here is my system load out:
Pentium 3: 933mhz, 128 megs ram
Windows XP
Soundblaster Live! (a model number that doesn't exist)
AGP GeForce 3
