reversed picture of avi file with most players

The divx video is simply reversed (both vertically and horizontally) when playing the avi file with most players (media player, powerdivx, koala, powerdvd etc.). BSPlayer works fine, but I need to use others. Is it in codec? Anyone can help?? (divx 5.0.2, W2K Pro). Thanks!!
