Movie is hacking when S/PDIF is activated in a DIVX with AC3 sound

    Hi!

I have a most anoying problem! When I play a divx file with ac3 sound in mplayer2.exe it sounds great on my external sourround stereo but it is only in 2 channel stereo. I have to activate the S/PDIF function on the ac3 driver to get the proper surround sound. I do this in file-settings-advanced-moonlight.
But when I do this the whole movie start to lag. The sound is in true 5.1 surround but it is lagging. It s impossible to look at a movie this way!!!
I have uninstalled the Moonlight ac3 driver and reinstalled it.

I have Moonlight AC3 codec installed.
    Divx 5.1 is also intalled.
    My computer is:

    P4 2.6 512 RAM
Creative Audigy Player 2 Platinum Ex
    Geforce Fx 5600 256 RAM
    Windows XP Home Edition

I´m really desperate. I don´t want to format and reinstall everything on my computer over a thing like this.
I´ve tried the system recovery tool in windows but it doesn´t help. Please help me............you´re my only hope!!!

    /Tomas
