    No Picture but Weird Sound??

I have tried downloading the codecs I need to play the movies, when I go to play a movie it recognizes it as like a song or mp3 file. It plays some weird noise kinda like a tv breaking up. Can anyone help me with this? I have tried everything I know....

Post the file information of those files, using Virtualdub or GSpot.

                  1. Have the file open in GSpot.

                  2. Use the (Alt - Print Scrn) buttons to "copy" the image of the active window onto memory.

                  3. "Paste" the copied image onto Paint (or any other image editors you are more familiar with) and save it as a file (.jpg preferably).

                  4. Attach the file here.

The "Print Scrn" button can be found beside the Scroll Lock and Pause/Break buttons. Holding the Print Scrn button together with the Alt button will achieve step 2.

                      Regards.
