Index Chunk Requirement

So I got a Gateway connected DVD Player and it requires that my DivX files contain an Index chunk.. so 288 of my 800 files are not recognized by the player... they all play fine on the PC so all is not lost.
Any ideas how to add an index chunk to these .avi files?
