DivX Gradual Video Stretch

Every time I try to play a video in DivX player, the audio plays at a consistant normal time, but the video gradually gets more and more out of sync. If I click a position on the timeline, the two will sync up again for a short period of time, but then the video will begin to lag again. Is there a codec I can get to fix this?

Well I just realised I have 127 mb of ram, could that be it?
