getting started!

this is all new to me. All I want 2 do is play DiVX movies that are posted on the web. What kind, and how much software do I need to do this task? Thanks for anyones assistance.

You need to download and install the required DivX codecs from:

http://www.divx-digest.com/index.html

I'd suggest that you start by simply downloading and installing the DivX v.3.11 alpha codec (which will automatically install the Radium .MP3 audio codec as well)...
