converted divx file running in slow motion!help

i converted a matrox digisuite avi to divx avi using virtualdub,the frame rate shows 25fps,and the duration is also the same ,but the file is running in slow motion,please help..

Elaborate on your encoding procedures as well as the file (your encode) information.
