don't try to buy avi converter

    Dear Sirs:
I feel that you folks should be aware of the problems that I have experienced in trying to buy a legitimate copy of WinAVI Video Converter. It is complicated processes such as this that convinces me that I should just "steal" a copy off of the internet. I hope you can appreciate my frustration!

I have entered both my name and the registration number as you suggested, but I have bloackage of the converted picture.

I noticed when it said that it would be closing once I had entered my name and registration number that nothing seemed to have happened. Is something supposed to have happened?

Maybe I should just be stealing a copy off of the net rather than trying to support the software industry by actually purchasing a copy!!

This paragraph relates to the email in red at the end of this memo which I received from Regsoft today.
Are you telling me that "shareit is not a part of your organization. Please read your email to me below, as well as the confirmation of my email that I received from "shareit" which is highlighted in red. If there is some hanky-panky going on here, I'll want to get appropriate notices on the web so that no one else gets suckered in like I seem to have.

If you have a problem with purchasing this software, you should contact the software's publisher, rather the company that provides billing support (Regsoft):

Regsoft is a service that software publishers can use to sell their software. Shareit is the same company as Regsoft, but it is for affiliate programs that help sell shareware software. In other words, one is for the manufacturer, the other is for the distributor. But in the end, all the sales info and support should be provided by the publisher (http://www.winavi.com).

If you don't have a reasonable reply from the publisher, than you should ask your credit card company (if you paid by credit card, that is) to charge back, since you did not get what you paid for.

Thanks so much for your reply lostinlodos. It's nice to know that there's folks like you out there. I try to be upright and supportive of those who work hard to make our lives interesting, but screw around with me and...watch out. I d appreciate you taking the time to not only read my note, but to give me your help.
