Anyone licencing/selling avi to vcd/mpeg1 codecs?

Hi all,

I need some information regarding the availability of AVI to MPEG1 and AVI to VCD CODECS. My company is in the need of these codecs for Windows platform.

I would like to know are there any companies which licence these codecs with standard, well written source code and if not are there any companies which give libraries with proper API definitions. I have seen some freeware stuff and exactly I don't know the implications of using those for a product.

I would be grateful for any help.
