Can anyone tell me why I cant author a dvd with this program even after encoding my mpeg2 file with the new Ligos encoder for Premiere 6 and afer trying the new TMPGenc 5.8 as well. I keep getting a message saying the program cant recognise a valid decoder

Which means

That either you have morphed the format or you dont have a codec for that program installed. What you could try doing is uninstalling and reinstalling the codecs on the systesms.

Thanks but not sure I understand re morphing. I reinstalled DVDit LE but still get same message. This system has Premiere 6 and a MAtrox RT 2500 on it so the codecs should be there, right?

reinstall the codecs

Some times escpecially with dvd it, you need to reinstall codecs AFTER you have installed the program. SAee if that works

I must be a dummy - do you mean reinstall Premiere after I reinstall DVDit?

No the codec filters

All you need to do is go on kazaa and download nimos codec pack, or any other codec pakc and install that and you will be good to go.
