standalone dvd player

I'm having a problem with standalone dvd player. When i put the dvd-r on it, it plays until the last three chapters then it freezes. in dvd-rom the plays until the end.

Try playing a DVD/CD cleaning CD on your standalone (Maxell makes one that sells for approximately $10U.S.)...
