HI, I JUST GOT ONE OF THESE AND WENT TO RECORD A VIDEO TO A DVD-R BUT IT SAYS I CANNOT RECORD IT BECAUSE ITS PROTECTED. IS THERE ANYWAY AROUND THIS.

You must first "rip" (remove copy protection and then copy) the DVD to your hard drive, using a program such as DVD Decrypter...

Buy a lead that removes macrovision protection.
