nero dvd burning problem

Does anyone have any idea how to successfully burn a video file onto a dvd+rw using nero 5 so it can be played on a home dvd player.

NB/ the nero project wizard does not allow dvd-video as an option for burning,

i understand that some encoding is required however when selecting the dvd-video option in the full( as opposed to the wizard) menu two folders appear where i would normally drag and drop entitled Video ts and audio ts.

when i try to load the video files in they appear in the box ready for writing however when i click write a message appears "dvd file reallocation failed "

2) Go to the NERO homepage to obtain the latest update to your registered version - this misleading error message has been "taken care of"...
