xvid to dvdr

i recently downloaded lotr the two towers in xvid format and now i want to put it on a dvdr. ive tried merging the files with nandub, demultiplexing with tmpgenc and authoring with ifoedit but my movie is out of sync. i was just curious is someone knew of a good guide that i could use or had some suggestions. thanx

I appended the files with nandub, then converted them with dvd2svcd ( using cce as the encoder )

Then authored with SpruceUp, sync is perfect
