problem with syncronization of video and audio with tmpgenc dvd author 1.5

I have a problem with TMPGenc dvd author 1.5 when it prepares video for burning to DVD disc. video and audio are not synchronized. video file is captured from VHS tape to DVD PAL format and it is OK until TMPGenc DVD author finishes.

1) What software/procedures are you using to convert the captured video?

2) What version of TMPGEnc DVD Author are you using?

I use Winfast My Vivo for capturing, and version of TMPGenc AUthor is the latest one that can be downloaded.

I'm assuming you're capturing as MPEG-2.

It MAY be that your software is not interleaving the audio with the video. If that's the case, you might try the following, using TMPGEnc (Different than TMPGEnc DVD Author)

TMPGEnc>>File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

Load your captured file

Set mode to "plain vanilla" MPEG-2 (NOT "MPEG-2 SuperVideoCD)

Save with a new filename
