Tmpg dvd author problem

Hi ,

I have converted a vcd mpg to mpeg 2 using tmpgenc plus (mpeg-2 program vbr) as dvd author was giving me some .ddl codec error. when i try and import the converted file it says to me ...

"a video sequence header is necessary for every GOp in a standard DVD" the video sequence header is incorrect.

i used the default GOP options in tmpgenc plus.


what do i ned to do to solve this ?

For conversion, use a DVD wizard/template in TMPGEnc Plus in order to create a compliant file for TMPGEnc DVD Author...

I have a similar problem,
I now managed to shrink a mpg to avi and then back to an mpg, half the size of the original mpg, which was the idea.
But when I try to add it to TMPGenc DVD author I get 'the video sequence header is incorrect', How do I get a GOP onto this mpg to add it to TMPGenc DVD author?
I have used a template in TMPGenc but it makes thempg the same size as the original, defeating what Im trying to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Change GOP settings in TMPGEnc

In TMPGEnc 2.5x series, you need to change the GOP structure settings--"Output interval of sequence header"-- to at least a value of 1.
