mpeg 2 to vob prob -w/audio sync

    help, im a newbie,

I capture tv program in a dvd mpeg format --> then have used four different programs to create a vob, each one results differently, but all with video and audio out of sync, the audio is in sync in the begginning but is way off as the show progess

programs used -- Ulead movie fact and workshop, IFOedit, and tmpegenc dvd author

winfast pvr is the software that i use to capture the program, i can set it to mpeg2 or dvd ntsc, i have set it to dvd ntsc 720x480 6000kbps using and mpeg2 codec, and the audio is mpeg 1 audio layer-ii

Have you played back the original captured file, from beginning to end, to see if it's the original that's out of synch?

My guess is, your "source" mpeg has audio in VBR variable bit
rate, that's why... can you change this to CBR ? constant bit rate ?
        Thanks,

        David.
