No audio on stand alone but has audio on PC

Using TMPGEnc I made a DVD compliant MPEG2. It plays beautifully on the computer.

Using TMPGEnc DVD Author I authored and burned a DVD. On the PC it has great picture and sound.

On my stand alone DVD player I have great picture but no sound.

I've made way too many coasters and would like to get this right. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried selecting different audio tracks with your remote control?

          Setarip!!! You are brilliant!!!

I discovered options and menus on my DVD player that I didn't know I had! Thank you!

The DVD played with I set my Digital Audio Output to Dolby Digital/PCM

It didn't work with the normal setting of Stream/PCM

Thanks to the help here I may finally figure out what I am doing.

I started by converting an AVI to an MPEG. Then I learned how to make a VCD. Finally I made a DVD! I'm not ready to graduate by a long shot. But now I am going to try copying a DVD - just to see if I can. So many possibilities! So many opportunities! The world is my oyster. lol
