.vro editing to DVD-R - Try TMPGenc DVD Author

I have recently purchased an LG GSA-4040B Tri-Fromat DVD Drive with the intention of using it to read the DVD-RAM created by my Panasonic HS-2. I want to edit the files and author a decent menu on the front of the DVD. Having discovered the files created were .vro files I went searching the web for a suitable application, many people were using Movie Factory but said they had issues.

If you are just after basic editing, menu creation and authoring I recommend checking out TMPGenc DVD Author: http://www.pegasys-inc.com/e_tmpg_author.html it accepts .vro files for input and the product is improving all the time.

Hope this info is useful, it was for me.

Barjoh, do you have a PC DVD-RAM burner?
Another thought, doesn't the Panasonic (DVDRecoder presumably) write DVD+/-R anyway?
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!
