Help With TMPGEnc auido mp2 file

    Hi,

I used Virtualdub to get a wav file from an avi file , then encoded both the Wav and Avi file in TMPGEnc plus. However when the encoding was finished the mp2 file was sillent.....
Can anyone give me any guidence. In virtualdub i used these settings | Video > Full processing mode Audio > Direct Stream copy.

    Regards Ben

I think you need to select "Save wav" in the Streams/Stream list to output your wav only file.
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

The strange thing is that the wav file played fine before the encoding , it was the full sound of the movie
