Keeping menus but removing extras

How can I keep the functionality of the menus but remove unwanted extras from a dvd when wanting to backup to a dvdr 4.7gb DVD shrink kills menu funtionalities. Does anyone know any good tutorial that can help me?

Jay,

You can also try CloneDVD2 since it has a feature to preserve menus and remove extra content. It is a pay product though.
