DVDReMakePRO 2.0 is OUT!

The NEW DVDReMake & DVDReMakePRO have been released... Dimad has out done himself... This is the perfect compliment to the DVDShrink program...

If you ever wanted one editor to:

ByPass Unwanted Video...
Replace Cells with blanks or custom cells...
Add Chapters...
Disable & Remove FBI Logos...
Disable & Remove Studio Logos...
Disable & Remove Unwanted Previews...
Disable, Remove, Add or Modify BUTTONS...
View all aspects of the movie while making adjustments...
Correct damaged IFOs...
Combine your own compilations...
Add VTS with the click of a button...
Make changes to IFO commands without having to know HEX...
This one program eliminates the need for Title Blankers, MenuEdit, IfoEdit, Chapter Utilities, Title Editors...

Long after I no longer need compression tools thanks to dual layer DVD-Rs I'll still be using DVDReMakePRO to "make my disk the way I like it".

You have two versions to choose from... DVDReMake 2.0 and the more powerful DVDReMakePRO 2.0.

Thanks again Dimad for a killer tool...

I am pretty sure he has a full featured demo version for free as well as the pay for product... I bought the full version and have been thrilled...

Whether you're personally thrilled is not the point - If you're going to sing the praises of a program, you should clearly state that it is NOT freeware...

Excuse me...? My enthusiasm with the product IS EXACTLY THE POINT... I started the post, so I think I have a better handle on MY POINT than you...

And when I take the time to "sing praises" about a great new program I am NOT concerned with their SALES PROGRAM...

You must just like to look for excuses to post... You have averaged almost 20 posts a day... EVERYDAY... FOR 2.5 YEARS... When was the last time you went outside and saw the sun?

geffroman, your first post does sound like a full blown ad for DvdReMake - perhaps dimad should hire you to help him promote it

I understand your enthusiasm, but look at it from my perspective - if everyone posted something like this for every one of their favorite products (whether commercial, or freeware), then this forum would become nothing more than an advertising medium, full of promotional posts for all sorts of products. This is also why some members have already been banned because all of their posts are to promote the same product or website.

If you really like DvdReMake and want to help promote it, then my suggestion is to put a link to DvdReMake and a brief sentence about it in your signature. This will allow you to post other types of messages, and still promote DvdReMake at the same time.

Well I would have to politely disagree with you... If everyone started ONE post everytime there was a killer new DVD product came out... we all would have something interesting to read and talk about... New tools... and some new NEWS would be appreciated by a lot of folks...

There isn't another tool out there that does what this one can... If this is not news WHAT IS...? But maybe I miss the point... Maybe you just want to keep the bandwidth down... Maybe this is more of a private club...

Yeah, but who's to say that the poster is a genuine fan, and not just the company signing up to a new username and to post free advertising?

I would have to say that most of the users banned so far have been to do with posting stuff like this, but it was obvious that they weren't fans and were merely just trying to advertise. In the end, I had to remove the product they were advertising from the our software section, and ban all links to their website from this forum.

I also have to treat DvdReMake differently to other tools because it is a commercial tool and it can suffer from this sort of problem. Not picking on DvdReMake, but because it has a commercial version, there is a very thin lines between appreciation and advertising.

I've read quite a few of your posts, and quite a few were to promote this software. If you want to do it and to post about new versions, then that's perfectly fine (eg. like the DVDtoOgm thread, and you can also post the changelog, download links, tutorial links, for example), and keep it updated by editing the first post whenever a new version comes out. But just make sure you don't open a new post whenever a new version is released or repeatedly posting the same kind of posts (eg. posts that basically say "Please use DvdReMake, it's great") everywhere.

And this post is also in the wrong forum, it should belong in the DVD Recording/Authoring forum, which I have moved it to.

And please, don't hurl personal insults at other members. I've banned people for far less...

                    To geffroman

(I just couldn't resist making this meaningless post in response to your feeble attempt at a cheap shot - So feel free to deduct it from your calculations):

"You must just like to look for excuses to post... You have averaged almost 20 posts a day... EVERYDAY... FOR 2.5 YEARS..."

Quantity is of no interest to anyone except, apparently, you. You might try reading some of them, rather than tabulating them.

"When was the last time you went outside and saw the sun?"

                    Right after I stopped laughing at the smokescreen in your second posting to this thread ;>}

Just couldn't hold it in, could ya

I think I might have to close this thread, since it's gone a little bit off topic.

geffroman: please start a new DvdReMake thread if you wish in this forum.
