    Authoring in 5 channel sound

TMPGenc DVD Authoring program is the only authoring program i know that supports 5 channel ac3 sound in my dvds. Does anyone know of any other authoring programs that support it. I like tmp but would like to look into others. I noticed Nero only supports 2 channel. This is only for dvd authoring, no converting or anything.

    Thanx guys.

That's intersesting. Pegasys's site seems to indicate it only does 2 channel.

    -Re-encode AC-3 sound
When you are using source files with AC-3 audio, for instance, files made from a DVD-recorder
or MPEG files, you can re-encode the AC-3 audio. And choose the track setting:
    mono, stereo, or dual channel
(for bilingual broadcasting / used in some coutries).
*But AC-3 with 5.1 channels or other multi-channel sources cannot be re-encoded.

      That applies to encoding

That only applies to encoding or re-encoding. TMP can only encode in 2 channel.

So long as the source movie already has 5 channel sound and you put it into tmp with no encoding or re-encoding of any kind, your audio will still be 5 channel after authoring your dvd.

Thanks setarip. DVDLAB seems to be the software of choice.
          I'll definitely check it out.

DVD-Lab Pro should be out soon. This allows authoring with multiple audio streams, so you can have say, pcm, dd 2.0, dd5.1, dts etc on the same movie. Beta 5 version is available to dl here.
