Sonic MyDVD - Bad Audio sync?

I'm currently using MyDVD to compile a number of Mpeg files into a single DVD disc.

The problem I'm having is that, while the files have perfect audio sync when I start, by the time MyDVD has "transcoded" them and burnt them to disc, the audio sync is out on every episode. Some, it happens right from the start, and others it happens later in the episode

Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem?

The original files are all MPEGs, around 430mb (ssssh, but they're episodes of Enterprise..) Oh, and theyre NTSC, but im bunring an NTSC disc anyway

"Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem"

As an alternative, try using "TMPGEnc DVD Author" or "DVD Lab" for authoring.

I've just tried this with TMPGenc Dvd Author - and i'm afraid to say the sync is *worse*...

There must be something I can do?

Where have these files come from?
Might be worth trying one in G Spot to see the file information.

Gspot gives no information on the files in question, as they are all Mpeg's

Theyve all come from suprnova.org or nx01.us as the main source of enterprise downloads...

Have you actually viewed one on the PC to make sure it stays synced?
Out of my depth here but they aren't mpeg4's are they?

There are many posts regarding sync errors. In one, Setarip posts a process using VirtualDubMod:

Using vdubmod is redundant, you end up with another avi, that you must re-encode to mpeg. Bloody waste of time.
