i'm looking for a subtitle program

    Hi guys & girls,

I'm looking for a subtitle program that is capable to select only the text, or only the timeline.

    The reason:

I had a dvd movie wich I wanted to sub with a dutch sutitle stream.
The streams I downloaded were not syncronized with my movie so I had the idea of ripping the englisch stream from the dvd and then copy-paste all the dutch text in it, only this is a lot of work and I want to know if there is a program that can delete or copy text or time directly.

So if anyone of you know how to do this....please let me know?!

You might be able to accomplish this with Subtitle Workshop, which lets you independently edit the in/out times and the text.

I understand the program and the translation mode is fantastic!
This is just what I need!

Yeah, the stupid thing is that I already had the program only an older version that doesn't have the translation mode!
          But this is great!
This will save me a lot of time!

So, thanks for the tip Megamachine!
