I'm getting Picture Spoilage or Pixelations after encoding with TMPGenc a mpeh1 to mpeg2 then burning with SpruceUp. The problems seems to be in the encoding process. What are the correct settings, most importantly rate control mode and bitrate, for burning DVDss not SVCD's? I started out doing Constant Bitrate of 4800 and have dropped all the way to 2800. the spoilage is better but still there. I'm currently trying Automatic instead of Constant(but 8 hours of encoding before I can test out). I'm getting tired of making coasters and almost ready to throw in the towel. Can somebody plz help??
