    Invalid Block Address?? HELP!

I have a DVD that is less than 4.5GB that I'm backing up. I've done this process before (with other DVDs) with no problem. I've backed up the original DVD to my hard drive with SmartRipper. Since it will fit onto a DVD-R I just have to burn the files onto a new DVD-R. I'm currently trying to write to a DVD-RW to test it (I actually wasted one DVD-R testing).

I usually use Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0 with current upgrade to the Px Engine from Veritas/Prassi. The problem I first had was that it would write 2.50MB (2,556KB) of information to the DVD and say it was finished. I can't access the drive using Explorer so I don't know what file(s) it wrote. Now PrimoDVD crashes with 'PrimoDVD has caused an error in PXMAS.DLL' - not very insightful.

So - I switch over to Nero to burn the DVD. Nero indicates that it writes the Lead In and then starts writing the track. About a minute later is fails with 'Invalid Block Address' - more information, but still no help to me.

I've consistently reproduced these errors on different media.

Can anyone provide insight into what's going on?

    Thanks!!!!
