adding subtitle in my own language

I have a ripped dvd image, the only subtitles on it are not in my language. i have a subtitle for this movie that is correct, i want to integrate it on the dvd i'm going to burn of the image file. how to do this. i want my tv/dvd set to be able to read the subtitle 2.

please help me out

If I remember correctly, this can be accomplished using a combination of IFOEdit and VOBEdit...

i dit that for about 3 hours now, came across those programs 2 but i couldnt get it to work, i don't really understand it. can you give me a general idea of what steps should be taken?
