burnt DVD that plays straight into the movie instead of going to the menu

hi guys , i have a burnt DVD that plays straight into the movie instead of going to the menu....is there a prog/app where i can change this ?

any help appreciated

Well let me ask you this first...

Would you rather just remove menu's and extra's and have a better quality movie?

or

You want to keep all the menu's and extra's and just want to play the movie?

first off this DVD was a DVD-9 converted down to DVD-5 done by someone in the scene........there is a menu and all extras....u jus have to press menu on the remote to stop it booting into the movie....i would like the DVD to boot to the menu first.....and i would like to keep all extras.....the DVD is a DVD-5 now so we dont have to rip any features to make it fit....the only thing that needs to be done is get it to boot into the menu 1st.....not boot straight into the movie , which it does.

How to encode, recode *** avi and subs(I have them all) onto a dvdr? I need soft and how( I do manage somehow) I've already get avi to dvd(1.35 Gb to 3.5Gb), but don't know how to add subs
like dvd's or vcd( I do care of quality, so I preferred 2 subs, but if I can only get Spanish it's all rigth!!)Thanks
