I am new to this forum and video input/output. Hopefully I won't have too long a list of newbie questions.
I had an edited home movie video in Click2DVD. I made my DVD and then, since this was movie film from the '40's, I wanted to archive it to a gold CD as S-VCD.
I installed Nero because it makes S0VCDs(I am a newbie here) and in first looking around I saw an option to make a CD, so I took it. It made a CD that is only playable on a PC.
Ok enough, but now I cannot pull that movie project up on either program now. I look in the folder with that name but nothing is in it.
And, not only that, I see where ALL my files, though they are still mpg files, are all called Nero Showtime type files. I had about 6 other projects, in other folders, and they are all renamed as to type.
But they still pull up in both programs. Just not the movie I put on the CD.
Is this something Nero is going to do again if I re-edit from an old save file? I would rather find the files as I threw all my edit notes away.
I will do some extra saves in C2DVD in the future as Nero seems very cumbersome when it comes to editing.
