    VOB to DVD-R?

    Hi there DVD lovers...

My problem is this: On my hard drive I've got a VOB file [taken from one of my own DVD's], which I want to burn it onto a DVD-R to watch on my normal DVD player. The problem is, every time I try to make a DVD, I keep getting asked which mpg, or mpeg file I want to make it with.

Isn't there a program which can make DVD-R's out of VOB files? Because it'll be much quicker that way, than having to fart around converting it to an AVI then putting audio & video togeter in another program... [and so on...]

It all seems a bit too much when I only want to copy my DVD !

Do I HAVE to convert to an mpg? Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance,

Simply change the extension of your VOB file to .MPG to make your software happy (a .VOB file is essentially an MPEG2 file)...

You can try "Burn DVD to VCD/SVCD/Avi(DivX) in CD-R/RW" which can be found from the Free Download Area of www.******.com
