    Tmpgenc Questions

    Hi,

I want to edit some mpeg-2 files (cutting out the commercials) and i wanted to know which program is the best to buy for that:

    Tmpgenc MPEG Editor or
    Tmpgenc 3.0 XPress or
    Tmpgenc Plus 2.5

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

I only have TMPGenc Plus 2.5. It can do the cutting. Another freeware cutting tool is Cuttermaran. Personally, I don't really do any cutting since I haven't a need to but I've read Cuttermaran works well.

greenda4 tmpgenc dvd author can do it using the "chapter cut edit" button. when you start your project, you select "add file". select your start/end points by clicking "chapter cut edit". then click "add file" NOT "add new track". load the same original file each time and select the start/end points you want each time. it will author the files in this order and ONLY what you select. it's a good system and you don't have to go around making new files in order "cut" like other programs.
