hi guys, glad i'm here cause you all seem like a big help around this forum. i'm in need of help here... the topic says pretty much everything. when i open ifoedit, click Create IFOs - select the folder where my vobs are that i joined before from chapters down to 1gb chunks. (ripped my movies in chapters instead of 1gb files). anyway, i open the first vob and then it does its thing; Processing source VOB_VTS_01_1.vob, VOB_VTS_01_2.vob, or however many vobs are in the folder. now the odd thing is, it goes through all the vobs and when it gets to 100% of the last vob it says; "could not find any vob unit in vob file(s)" - and i really have no idea why it does this. i read somewhere that it might be cause the vobs are damaged or something. i did the whole VOB extras thing to check for any damaged sectors. also did Get VTS sectors. fixed it all up. ran it through create ifos again yet i got the same error. any ideas?
ifo edit - after processing last vob "could not find any vob unit in vob file(s)"

Just rip it again. As well, the DVD Spec says there can only be 10 VOBs per VTS (0-9). If your movie has more than 10 chapters you'll be fcucked.

1. i don't have the movies i ripped to my computer.
2. there is only 3 vob files all in 1gb size.
before i create ifo's for the movies i have i join the chapters/vobs (usually 20 and more vobs) - into 1 gb files that usually end up in 4/5 1gig vob files. that's when i try to create ifo, bup files. it's worked aswell before. i've done three movies doing this. but for some movies it doesn't create the ifo files for some reason, giving me thit error after processing source the last vob; "could not find any vob unit in vob file(s)" - so i really don't get why it won't work for some movies. i'm starting to think the vobs have errors in them and i might need to fix it or something.Comment

There probably is chance, but unfortunately, since you don't own the movies, we can't help you.
Please read rule 6.
