can anyone tell me which is the best programme for doing a straight copy of a dvdr, using a pioneer a03, on princo branded dvdr.tried nero not had any luck, as it failed to make an image at 97%.
Well , even though I am new at this, I have been able to copy a DVD to a DVD-R using SmartRipper, and REMpeg2 and Spruce Up software with Nero or Prassi. I understand that you will need to "Author" it before you make a copy . If not , then you would see only garbage due to the protection that it has. I had the good luck that I could burn directly into my Pionner DVD drive from Spruce Up. I've read that some people can't . Can't explain why though. I am sure that someone with experience will give you a more technical response than this one. But this is what I've found so far
cheer m8,however u missunderstand me, I already have an authored version of a film, on dvdr, which I have borrowed of a m8,and I want to copy it, so that I have a version.
thanx anyway
Is the same as when you have a single layer DVD you are backing up.....create an ISO file of the DVD using DVDDecrypter, then reburn the image to your DVD-R Using Prassi
