Reauthoring A Bugs Life

the "bugs life" ripped folder(mode file) have:

the main movie is in VTS_4... (now i know that you know after see the picture )
the menu have options to 3 subps and audios(english,spanish and portuguese).

re-authoring the main movie without spanish subs & audio but with a new audio track AC3(remastered),following this order:
2 subps(portuguese and english) and 3 audios(portuguese 2 ch,portuguese5.1 and english 5.1).
the re-encoded main movie is working very fine(all audios,subps,chapters,etc) and have now:

and only 5 vobs (from VTS_01_1.VOB to VTS_01_5.VOB)

how can i change the main movie from the complete ripped folder for this new re-authored main movie?

i know your guide to do that but as this 2 main movies have numeric differences in the vobs, the .bups and .ifos are differents too, i'm very confused(mixed emotions).

help please.

Open the original project in VobBlanker. Repace the title in VTS4 with the re-authored title (now VTS1).

If that doesn't work, then create a new DVD with PgcEdit. Import VMGM, VTS 1, 2, 3 (menus and titles) from the original project. When you come to VTS 4, import the original menu but the reauthored titleset. Then import VTS 5 and 6 (menu and titles) from the original. Check for jumps to nowhere.

In either method, you will need to re-author the audio and subpix menu buttons.

good to see that you created a new thread,thank you.

i saw 2 guides in doom9 where using dvd2svcd is possible to change or re-encode audio tracks but i'm stuck with subtitles.this new guides easy to use comparing with the guide in the old thread from where came before here.
now i'm testing with only 2 audios and if d2s works,i will edit the screenshots from the first post and this post here with good results(i will).
i'm posting here now only to told you that i not left your great orientations.
you know,in doom9 the help came(when came) so slow,i'm waiting someone with good will to help.
for this moment this post here is useless and will be edited in next future with good results.

I am a big fan of doom9 and the knowledgebase there (being a part of it myself for longer than I am here).

I am a bit confused why guides on DVD2SVCD are relevant to what you want to do.

oh yes,i need a big good luck because D2S new version is giving problems authoring subs.
is not so relevant blutach,D2S is only one test inside this test.
as i saw in doom9 2 guides with D2S to re-encode the audio tracks,i was testing this guides and compressing the main movie too(just a little).
when(or if) D2S give the right result i will use the main movie and audios re-encoded to apply here.
if don't work,i will left D2S(really will forget D2S),and start to re-encode the audio(after demux,etc)and remux again as we start this idea.

i only get problems and trying 4 times the entire job.

No need to clean the thread - there's some info in here for others about D2S and its applicability. Plus I've seen a lot worse.

You can import the menus in PgcEdit as well as the titles when you create a New DVD. However, this method of building from scratch is quite laborious as you will need to check all your DVD nav commands.

VobBlanker does not support multi-angle stuff. Use DVD Remake Pro for this.
