So technically, since I have everything as seperate titles, shouldn't i be able to use that old method to combine the scenes with the new ones? I tried it but the audio cuts out inbetween the end of where the new scene is and where the original movie is.

You have a number of titles like this right:
Title 1 - Start to initial insertion
Title 2 - Bit to be added
Title 3 - After initial insertion to end
You can join these together in one long title using IfoEdit - see http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html#joinclip
If you prefer a GUI way of doing this - use Ner0 Recode's Merge titles feature.

That's a muxing issue. What happens is your title finishes and the audio buffer runs out. New title starts - it's just like a layer break - and you're up and running again.
Only way round that is this:
1. Merge the titles - if you have Nero Recode this is easy, but watch the audio stream IDs are the same. If not, use Vobedit - http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html
2. Demux - use PgcDemux available at the VobBlanker site - see link in my signature.
3. Remux with muxman - yup! see link in my signature.
This gets it all into one title, which the muxer will ensure there are no breaks or buffer drop outs.

You will have 1 video file - load that into muxman with the ... at the right. Don't forget to select your preferences - I guess, 16:9 letterbox NTSC 720 x 480.
Then the audio assets - they will be joined as well by now as 1 ac3 stream. Load them in the same way.
Same for the sub pix. By the way PgcDemux would have given you an audio delay - don't forget to enter it.
Enter your celltimes.txt for chapters (also got from PgcDemux).
Hope this works for you. You have been very patient.

Lol I forgot to say the problem I am running into (i found where to do the chapter stops thing by the way). Once I hit a deleted scene, it freezes up when I play it, and then once i go past there, the audio basically sounds like it's skipping. Then once I get to the last part of the film (after the final deleted scene). It sounds fine.Comment

You gotta muxman.log? It's in C:\
Sounds like the audio isn't arriving in time, which would be very sad.

That's a good mux (the audio duration is 4 fields less than the video, not too much of a worry). But I have a question now. Back at this post here, you had one single working title, right (with just a slight pause at the insertion points)? If so, then it sounds like that's the best you're gunna get. Is it acceptable because it sounds better than what you have now, sorry to say?

Only thing I can think of is buffering. But if the clip in the above post sounds OK except for those 2 glitches and the one after the mux doesn't quite cut it, then maybe use the first one, yes?

Sorry, I had to start working midnight shifts at my job (from the beginning of December to Christmas, i will have had only a total of 3 days off... yuck!) Anyway, yeah the first one does sound better with the exception of the audio dropping out at the end of the clip. I tried a few different things but it just doesn't work so I am just going to leave the gap in there. It'll just sound like a layer change! Thanx a ton for all the help!Comment
